Your Moped License, Fast, Simple and Affordable.
Steps to get your AM license
- Psycho-technical: before taking the theory exam you must obtain a medical certificate of psycho-technical aptitude, which can be obtained from any specialised medical centre and you must pass a coordination test, an ophthalmological and medical check-up.
- Theoretical: the theoretical exam is about road safety contents and specific contents of moped driving. It allows 2 failures to pass the test.
- Practical: the practical test is a very simple test as shown in the video, it is done on a circuit of the tracks of the provincial traffic headquarters in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
- It basically consists of demonstrating that you know how to handle the moped, keep your balance and make tight turns. There’s no road test.
In the following picture we show you in detail the circuit you have to complete, and each section of it.
Until May 2010 this permit was known as a moped driving license. To obtain the “AM Driver’s License” the minimum age is currently 15 years (previously it was 14).
